An instrument panel upgrade project was moved closer to completion through flight testing and certification report writing. Technical assistance was provided to a foreign licensee enabling them to earn a Production Certificate for manufacturing Angel airplanes. This should begin producing royalty income. The FFA has imposed new Safety Management System (SMS) regulations that apply to holders of Type Certificates who license other parties to manufacture their type design products. Significant time went into developing an SMS implementation plan.
