Future of the American Child Fellowships: Held two trainings to provide journalists with the contextual depth and sources needed to amplify key challenges for American children. The first training took place in McAllen, Texas due to its location on the U.S.-Mexico border where journalists heard from experts on immigrant policy and toured the Catholic Charities Rio Grande Valley Humanitarian Respite Center. The second training was held in Cleveland, Ohio, and focused on childrens health, featuring experts from the Cleveland Clinic and including a tour of the Ahuja Center for Women and Children.
