PARENTING & COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS THE FAMILY TREE OFFERS A RANGE OF PROGRAMS FOR PARENTS AND THE BROADER COMMUNITY, INCLUDING PARENTING AND ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASSES, FAMILY LIFE WORKSHOPS, AND COMMUNITY AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE. FREE CHILD CARE KIDS CARE PLUS (KCP) PROVIDES FREE, LICENSED DROP-IN CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN AGES TWO TO TWELVE, OFFERING UP TO FOUR HOURS OF CARE PER VISIT IN A SAFE AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT. HOME VISITING THE FAMILY TREE PROVIDES THREE EVIDENCE-BASED HOME VISITING MODELS THAT MEET FAMILIES WHERE THEY ARE AND SUPPORT HEALTHY CHILD DEVELOPMENT FROM PREGNANCY THROUGH EARLY CHILDHOOD. THESE MODELS INCLUDE FAMILY CONNECTS MARYLAND, A BRIEF 1 TO 3 VISIT HOME VISITING PROGRAM FOR NEW PARENTS; PARENTS AS TEACHERS, WHICH PARTNERS WITH FAMILIES TO PROMOTE HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT AND EARLY LEARNING THROUGH AGE FIVE; AND HEALTHY FAMILIES AMERICA, AN EARLY INTERVENTION AND PREVENTION PROGRAM PROVIDING INTENSIVE HOME VISITING SUPPORT TO FAMILIES FACING HIGHER RISK, PRENATALLY UNTIL A CHILD'S THIRD BIRTHDAY BALTIMORE CITY CHILD CARE RESOURCE CENTER THE BALTIMORE CITY CHILD CARE RESOURCE CENTER (BCCCRC) STRENGTHENS EARLY CHILDHOOD SYSTEMS BY PROVIDING TRAINING, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, AND HANDS-ON SUPPORT TO CHILD CARE PROGRAMS - HELPING ENSURE THAT BALTIMORE CITY'S CHILDREN ARE CARED FOR IN SAFE, STABLE, AND HIGH-QUALITY LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS.
