Educational Workshops and Events: In 2023, our membership was in full swing and ready to participate in the education and training that we provide. After a virtual year of events, the membership was ready to be in-person and among their peers and colleagues. ITEA had an upswing in participation with an unusually high level of responses to attending and presenting technical papers at these events. We began to also focus on educating the future test and evaluation workforce as well as continuing to educate the current workforce - this caused a jump in the attendance of early career workforce professionals seeking knowledge from the leadership and technical subject matter experts. We hosted our Cybersecurity and Test Instrumentation workshops, as well as other topics for our membership to engage in to learn, share, and advance in their field of test and evaluation.

Annual Symposium: Our annual symposium continues to be the event that culminates a year-long of learning by bringing together leaders in our industry to speak to our members. Our volunteers were ready to provide a technical program with guest speakers, panel discussions, technical breakout sessions, several tutorial offerings, and networking opportunities; and after a year of planning - they exceeded expectations with a vibrant and robust program. This event brings in our non-US members and leaders within industry, academia and government.

Grants/Scholarships: Our association not only provides education to the professionals in the field of test and evaluation, but we also provide financial aid to those qualifying students attending or scheduled to attend an institution of higher learning ie., Universities, Colleges, and Community Colleges in technical fields such as the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematical STEM program or STEAM program including the Arts. These students are the future workforce in our industry, and we strive to engage the youth in the potential career opportunities in the test and evaluation community. We also offer the opportunity for the institutions to purchase needed equipment that has the potential to impact their technical curriculum. The ITEA scholarship program is administered by the leadership at the ITEA Chapters with the assistance of the ITEA Executive Office and under the cognizance of the Board of Directors. In 2023, eight scholarship checks were written to 8 schools, totaling $12,500.
