Each spring, the grantees for that year are recognized and awarded their checks at the Grant Awards Ceremony. Grantees and Foundation leaders are interviewed at this event to produce a grantee video highlighting the grantees and the need for support. Each grant request is evaluated on its own merits and in comparison to the other projects being funded, and other grant requests being considered, by the WBAF in that year. In addition, the WBAF founders fellowship supports area law students to work with local legal services providers on projects to benefit women and girls in our community.
