THE PTA PLAYS AN INSTRUMENTAL ROLE IN ENSURING THAT HAYCOCK IS A VIBRANT AND DYNAMIC PLACE OF LEARNING FOR OUR CHILDREN AND ONE OF THE BEST SCHOOLS IN THE AREA. WE WORK HARD TO SUPPORT HAYCOCK'S MISSION OF ENCOURAGING "THE WHOLE CHILD," PROMOTING STUDENTS' DESIRE FOR LEARNING, SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND APPRECIATION OF OTHERS. THE PTA SEEKS TO FOSTER COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PARENTS, STUDENTS, TEACHERS, AND SCHOOL STAFF. THROUGH PTA MEETINGS, HOTSHEETS, THE WEBSITE, AND PTA PROGRAMS AND SOCIAL EVENTS, THE PTA OFFERS MANY WAYS TO STAY INFORMED AND GET CONNECTED TO YOUR CHILD'S SCHOOL. THE PTA ALSO PROVIDES A LARGE SUM OF MONEY DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL EVERY YEAR TO HELP FUND TECHNOLOGY PURCHASES, SCIENCE ENRICHMENT AND MORE.
