Program Events: Providing regional business leaders and their guests the opportunity to hear featured speakers and gain a better understanding of global economic issues. These signature events promote a greater sense of community among the area's top executives, regional and national government officials, and the diplomatic community. Throughout the year, our members gather to listen to , and learn from, thought-leaders in the global business, policy and diplomatic sectors. Executive Conversations generally are smaller group gatherings of approximately 30-100 members. The intimate setting allows club members to interact with speakers through an in-depth exploration of compelling global topics of interest to the business world. Additional virtual and in-person events provide members regular opportunity for small-group peer interaction. These sessions include more frequent member led forums that foster community education through topic driven discussions.

Scholarship programs: College scholarships, in the amount of $20,000 each, are awarded to up to 50 Washington, DC, public and charter high school seniors based on academic achievement and other factors. With oversight provided by the Education Committee, extensive additional support is provided to students selected for the scholarship award including mentoring, internships, and other seminars devised to enhance successful graduation from college and provide job opportunities. Through a vigorous application process, up to 3 fellowships in the amount of $10,000 each are also awarded to prior scholarship winners to support graduate - level study across all disciplines.

Membership: The Economic Club of Washington DC is a non-profit peer group organization. Our exclusive membership is restricted to executive-level leaders of top tier businesses based in the Washington region. Through our programs, members gain valuable insight into critical global, economic, business, and political issues that impact their company's success. They also interact with peers in ways that strengthen the area business community and support their ability to effectively guide their firms' commerce. Economic Club members include heads of regional and national corporations, entrepreneurs, investment professionals, government affairs experts, lawyers, accountants, and business leaders from the Washington, DC region. The Executive Fellows program welcomes individuals from annual sponsor organizations, who are on a leadership track, and provides opportunities to develop and cultivate leadership skills.
