THE ASSOCIATION COLLABORATES WITH TWO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO HOST AN ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CANCER EDUCATION CONFERENCE. THIS CONFERENCE HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO MEET THE CHANGING NEEDS OF ONCOLOGY PROFESSIONALS WHO EDUCATE OTHERS AS PART OF THEIR PRACTICE. BY FOCUSING ON INTEGRATING THEORY INTO PRACTICE, IT IS THE INTENTION THAT THE CONFERENCE WILL EQUIP ALL PARTICIPANTS WITH THE NECESSARY TOOLS TO IMPROVE PATIENT OUTCOMES THROUGH EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE EDUCATION. IN 2024, THIS MEETING WAS HELD IN LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY AND PARTICIPATION INCLUDED APPROXIMATELY 195 PERSONS FROM 6 COUNTRIES, INCLUDING CANADA, EGYPT, PORTUGAL, UGANDA, UNITED KINGDOM,AND USA (INCLUDING PUERTO RICO).

THE ASSOCIATION HOSTS PERIODIC WEBINARS ON TOPICS OF INTEREST TO ITS MEMBERS, AS WELL AS ISSUING A QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION'S ACTIVITIES, MEMBER-SUBMITTED NEWS ITEMS, JOB AND GRANT OPPORTUNITIES, AND UPCOMING EVENTS THAT MAY BE OF INTEREST TO MEMBERS.
