THE INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF EMPLOYERS OF BRICKLAYERS & ALLIED CRAFTWORKERS (ICE) AND ITS AFFILIATED ENTITIES ENGAGE IN LABOR RELATIONS MATTERS IN DEALINGS WITH THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF BRICKLAYERS AND ALLIED CRAFTWORKERS AND ITS CONSTITUENT LOCAL UNIONS LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. THE CONTRACTOR MEMBERS AND OFFICERS OF ICE AND THE OFFICERS OF THE BAC ARE COMMITTED TO WORKING IN HARMONIOUS FASHION IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING PROCESS; AND TO ENHANCE THE WORK OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE UNION AND INCREASE THE OPPORTUNITIES OF CONTRACTORS TO SECURE ADDITIONAL AND PROFITABLE CONTRACTS. THE UNION AND ICE WORK TOGETHER IN THE MANAGEMENT OF JOINT INDUSTRY PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES, TRAINING ACTIVITIES AND MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH, WELFARE AND PENSION FUNDS AND SAVINGS FUNDS. FURTHER, ICE ACTS AS A NATIONAL VOICE FOR ITS CONSTITUENT MEMBERS AND DEALS WITH VARIOUS GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES IN THE AREAS OF HEALTH, SAFETY AND INDUSTRY WIDE CODES AND STANDARDS.
