As an indigenous ministry, Maryland Bible College and Seminary (MBC&S or the College) exists under the spiritual covering of Greater Grace World Outreach (Greater Grace). This unique and synamic relationship bewteen the Greater Grace local church allows MBC&S students to correlate classroom education with field training. Graduates often co-labor with Greater Grace and other local churches in church planting and assist with 550 affiliated churches worldwide in missions, leadership training, evangelistic outreach and christian day schools. On January 5, 1988, the State board for higher education recognized that MBC&S satisfied all critera for the status of a religious degree-granting institution as set forth in Section 12-203 of the Educational Article. As such, MBC&S may operate and grant degrees in religious disciplines without a certificate of approval. MBC&S is a nonaccredited institution.
