IN RESPONSE TO GRANT REQUEST, THE IFSA AWARDED FUNDING OF 56,000 TO ANRACI COLUMBIA TO CREATE AN ACADEMIC SPECIALIZATION PROGRAM IN FIRE PROTECTION. THE PROGRAM MEETS THE COLUMBIAN LEGISTLATIVE REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION PROGRAMS OF A UNIVERSITY. ADDITIONALLY, THE PROGRAM IS ENDORSED, APPROVED, AND AUTHORIZED BY THE COLUMBIAN AUTHORITY. IFSA AWARDED FUNDING OF 32,000 TO ANRACI COLUMBIA FOR AN EXPOSITION THAT WAS TO BE REPAID FROM PROFITS GENERATED AT THE CONFERENCE. HOWEVER, THE EXPOSITION DID NOT GENERATE A PROFIT, AS A RESULT THE IFSA BOARD AGREED TO RECLASSIFY THE LOAN AS A GRANT TO ANRACI.
