THE FOUNDATION, UPON CONSIDERATION OF REQUESTS OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF CALVERT LIBRARY AND/OR THE CALVERT LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES, SHALL DETERMINE HOW FUNDS RAISED BY THE FOUNDATION WILL BE DISBURSED, WITH THE OBJECTIVE THAT SUCH FUNDS SHOULD MAKE POSSIBLE SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS NOT OTHERWISE OBTAINABLE THROUGH GOVERNMENTAL OR OTHER INSTITUTIONAL RESOURCES.
