In 2025, ACBA's eight clubs and organizations of over 1,100 members participated in nearly 3,300 organized practices and 2,400 individual outings at and from the boathouse On our racks and docks, ACBA stored over 240 non-motorized watercraft and 30 motorized launches. ACBA held seven major regattas, and 21 special events (e.g scrimmages with area teams, celebrations) at the site, bringing over 1500 visitors to our river. Cumulatively, ACBA's organizations introduced rowing and paddling on the Anacostia River to over 350 individuals through camps, "learn to" classes, and one day events. ACBA organizations sponsored and supported inclusivity on the Anacostia River with the following programs: DC Strokes is one of only two LGBTQ plus rowing clubs in the US; Capital Juniors (serves diverse DC and Area Youth), Capital Adaptive Rowing Program in partnership with Medstar Hospital National Rehabilitation Rowing (serves adults and youths with physical and intellectual disabilities), We Can Row (serves breast cancer survivors and patients), GOPink! DC dragon boat team (serves breast cancer survivors), and Howard University ROTC's informal Learn to Row program. ACBA hosted ten community work sessions (five specifically for youth, one with Anacostia Watershed Society for Earth Day, with 65 volunteers contributing), to enhance the biological diversity and storm water capturing capacity of the bioswale on site which helps to protect the Anacostia River.
