The mission of Universal Peace Federation USA, Inc. In FYE March 2025, UPF USA conducted solely or co-sponsored, national, regional and international programs including Parents of the Year awards, Ambassadors for Peace appointments, the Peace Road, Interfaith Prayer, intercultural programs, and youth education programs. The goal of all these programs is to strengthen cooperative relationships in the community, including dialogues between government and citizens, members of different faith traditions and races.Our several online webinars included Stopping the Violence which encourages the efforts of anti-violence leaders around the country to curtail gun violence and reduce crime in cities. The Washington Brief webinar series focuses on geopolitical peacebuilding and security issues in the Indo-Pacific, Europe and Middle East. Our International Media Association for Peace webinars focus on the role of the free press to support social and cultural values that keep a free society healthy and functioning. The International Association for Peace and Economic Development webinars highlight global economic and trade issues. And finally, the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development hosts a monthly webinar on religion's peacemaking role, as well as a weekly interfaith prayer webinars participated in by the all the world's faith traditions. Together with international programs, these projects aim at encouraging higher moral values, service to others and harmony within the family and community. UPF USA supports the renewal of the United Nations by sponsoring events commemorating UN special observances, including the International Day of Peace, World Interfaith Harmony Week, International Day of Women, and International Day of Families. UPF USA chapters commemorate these days with a variety of programs in which we join hands with representatives of different faiths and social groups who also support these observances. UPF USA was a major participant and co-organizer with other not-for-profit organizations in the creation of international events, including the Peace Summit in Korea in May 2025; the International Religious Freedom Summit in February 2025, where members of the world's faith traditions join hands to protect people worldwide who are persecuted for their beliefs. UPF USA's role in these international conferences included inviting participants and providing logistical and administrative support.UPF USA addresses peaceful cooperation and unity in society and community in various areas through seven major associations. They are International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP), Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD), International Summit Council for Peace (ISCP), International Association for Peace and Economic Development (IAED), International Association of Academicians for Peace (IAAP), International Media Association for Peace (IMAP) and International Association of First Ladies for Peace. (IAFLP) and International Association of Arts and Culture for Peace (IAACP). In FYE 2025, UPF USA continued to support the peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula through educational programs and series of webinars.
