THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED DAILY MEALS FOR OVER 1,275 MEN, WOMEN ND YOUNG ADULTS AT EMERGENCY MISSIONS, HOMES AND DUPLEXES OWNED AND RENTED BY THE ORGANIZATION. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED OVER 1,200 HOT MEALS PER WEEK TO UNDERPRIVILEGED FAMILIES IN THE TAMPA BAY REGION. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED FOOD BOXES AND HYGIENE PRODUCTS TO HUNDREDS OF NEEDY FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AND ALSO PROVIDED LITERACY AND GED CLASSES OPEN TO ALL AGES FREE OF CHARGE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDED YOUTH ACTIVITES AND MENTORSHIP TOGETHER WITH SPECIAL EVENTS DURING HOLIDAYS WITH FREE TOYS FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN AS WELL AS PROVIDED OVER 10,000 MEALS PER MONTH TO INDIVIDUALS AT FACILITIES. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED OCCUPATIONAL TRAINING AND MENTORSHIP FOR OVER 175 MEN, WOMEN AND YOUNG ADULTS. ALSO PROVIDED EXTENSIVE WORK THERAPY AS A PART OF ITS OVERALL RECOVERY PROGRAM. MAINTAINED A THRIFT STORE OPERATION TO PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN OR RE-LEARN DISCIPLINED WORK HABITS, GAIN JOB SKILLS AND DEVELOP A SENSE OF SELF-WORTH AND VALUE. NEW BEGINNING OF TAMPA, INC IS A NON PROFIT WHICH RUNS A LARGE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING AND HOMELESS RECOVERY PROGRAM. HOUSED AND FED IN EXCESS OF 1,200 HOMELESS PEOPLE AT EMERGENCY SHELTERS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, FOOD, REHBILITATION AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE ASSISTANCE TO 175 MEN, WOMEN AND YOUNG ADULTS AT DUPLEXES AND RENTAL HOMES (INCLUDING UTILITIES, REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE) OWNED BY THE ORGANIZATION.
