There were five mainstage productions in the 2024-2025 season. We opened the season on a high note with the historic performance of "Echoes of America" with the National Symphony Orchestra, featuring Washington Chorus Artistic Director Eugene Rogers at the podium. This was the first time in TWC history that the National Symphony Orchestra has invited our Artistic Director to conduct one of their season performances. Our family-favorite tradition of "A Candlelight Christmas" at the Kennedy Center and Strathmore in December welcomed record-breaking audiences, with five sold-out performances. The Chorus presented "Stand the Storm" with National Philharmonic, in March to rave reviews. The season ended with appearances as guest artists with the National Symphony Orchestra for Beethoven's MISSA SOLEMNIS and Baltimore Symphony Orchestra for Verdi's AIDA. TWC will continue these longstanding partnerships into the 2025/26 season.
