IN THE 2023-2024 PROGRAM YEAR, FLOC SERVED 242 UNDUPLICATED STUDENTS ACROSS OUR PROGRAMS (I.E., ONE STUDENT ENROLLED IN BOTH MATH AND READING THROUGH TUTORING WOULD BE CONSIDERED ONE STUDENT ALTHOUGH THEY PARTICIPATED IN TWO PROGRAMS). 100% OF OUR STUDENTS HAVE GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL ON TIME. 100% OF MATH AND LITERACY STUDENTS IMPROVED THEIR EFFICIENCY BY AT LEAST HALF A GRADE LEVEL AFTER 56 HOURS OF TUTORING. WE ARE PLEASED TO HAVE AWARDED $54,770 IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO FLOC'S POST-SECONDARY STUDENTS. EIGHT OUT OF TEN STUDENTS INCREASED THEIR VOCABULARIES OVER SIX WEEKS OF SUMMER CAMP. AT FLOC, WE FOCUS ON MORE THAN JUST TUTORING INTERVENTION. WE ALSO WANT TO SET OUR STUDENTS UP FOR SUCCESS OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM AND INSPIRE THEM TO GO AFTER THEIR DREAMS, NO MATTER WHAT PATH THEY CHOOSE.
