Through the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), Kingman offers subsidized or free admission depending on a family's income. Priority for placement goes to children whose families are TANF participants, working parents, children with disabilities, and children entering child protective service or foster care system. Teenagers-Kingman collaborates with local high schools to serve as a host site for their internship and community service initiatives. We also partner with DC government organizations, such as the Department of Employment Services, to provide work experience for youth aged 14 to 24. These initiatives are designed to foster professional growth and support personal career aspirations, offering structured job experience during the summer months. Our partnership extends beyond the summer as we provide meaningful and constructive work experience through the DC Office of Youth Program's Schoo; Year Internship Program, which targets students aged 14 to 21 (grades 9-12).
