ANNUAL CONVENTION - ENABLES MEMBERS TO SEE LATEST INNOVATIONS IN THE REFRIGERATION INDUSTRY.THE GCCA-GCCF CONVENTION WAS HELD IN SEPTEMBER 2024. THE EVENT TOOK PLACE IN BONITA SPRINGS, FLORIDA FROM SEPTEMBER 18-21 AND ATTRACTED OVER 600 ATTENDEES AS WELL AS 49 EXHIBITORS. THE FOUR-DAY NETWORKING AND EDUCATION EVENT WAS ATTENDED BY SENIOR-LEVEL EXECUTIVES FROM THE TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED LOGISTICS INDUSTRY. GCCA ALSO HOSTED A FACE-TO-FACE POLICY FORUM IN JULY 2024 THAT FOCUSED ON GLOBAL COLD CHAIN ADVOCACY ISSUES AND ATTRACTED OVER 100 PARTICIPANTS. IN ADDITION, THE FOLLOWING EVENTS WERE ALSO HELD FACE IN 2024 THE EUROPEAN COLD CHAIN CONFERENCE (BRUSSELS/BELGIUM, MARCH 192 ATTENDEES), LATIN AMERICAN COLD CHAIN CONGRESS (PANAMA CITY, PANAMA/NOVEMBER/98 ATTENDEES), BRAZILIAN COLD CHAIN CONGRESS (BRAZIL/JUNE/132 ATTENDEES). FURTHERMORE, THE GCCA BOARD CONVENED FOR THEIR ANNUAL STRATEGIC BOARD MEETING IN MAY 2024, PROVIDING AN OPPORTUNITY FOR IMPORTANT DISCUSSIONS AND DECISIONS TO BE MADE.
