SID Futures progamme uses scenario planning to promote reconciliation and policy dialogue around topical questions. The use of the future as a space for dialogue enables diverse stakeholders to meet and explore options and opportunities without feeling the need to be held back by the divisions of the present and the past. Nexus programming aims at deepening SID's systemic analysis and guiding the formulation of our current narratives with the intent of helping to formulate more robust policy proposals in view of the current challenges we face at various levels. It also seeks to enhance SID's role in facilitating cross-sectoral dialogue bringing together diverse constituencies in the areas of food, global health, corporate encroachment and takeover of multilateral decision making spaces, as well as the broader interlinked challenges that global governance actors must face.
