PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM SERIES (PPS): THE VASSP PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM SERIES ARE PLANNED EXPERIENCES DESIGNED TO ENHANCE THE BELIEFS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF PRINCIPALS, ASSISTANT PRINCIPALS, LEAD TEACHERS, SUPPORT STAFF AND STUDENT LEADERS WHICH RESULT IN IMPROVED STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT. THESE EXPERIENCES ARE GUIDED BY BEST PRACTICES IN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, CURRENT RESEARCH, APPLICABLE STANDARDS, FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL MANDATES AND EXPECTATIONS AND SCHOOL NEEDS. THE VASSP PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM SERIES SUPPORTS GROWTH OF THE INDIVIDUAL, THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY AND THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ASSOCIATION STRATEGIES AND EDUCATIONAL GOALS.
