ALTHOUGH ACCORDED A NATIONAL SCOPE BY ITS CHARTER, THE ENDOWMENT CURRENTLY LIMITS AWARDS TO ELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS AND PROJECTS CONDUCTED PRIMARILY IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA AND ALSO IN THE KANAWHA AND OHIO RIVER VALLEYS OF KENTUCKY AND WEST VIRGINIA.
