THE STAFFORD AREA SOCCER ASSOCIATION ASPIRES TO BE AN OUTSTANDING EDUCATIONS-ATHELTIC ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES A HIGH-QUALITY EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY ATHELETE. A HIGH-QUALITY EXPERIENCE IS ONE IN WHICH EVERY ATHELETE IS: COACHED USING THE PRINCIPLES OF POSITIVE COACHING, HAS FUN PLAYING THE GAME, FEELS LIKE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE TEAM REGARDLESS OF PERFORMANCE, LEANS "LIFE LESSONS" THAT HAVE VALUE BEYOND THE PLAYING FIELD AND LEARNES THE SKILLS, TACTICS AND STRATEGIES OF THE GAME AND IMPROVES AS A PLAYER. THE ORGANIZATION BENEFITS MORE THAN 4500 CHILDREN AGES FIVE TO EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD. IT AWARDS APPROXIMATELY $30,000 IN NEED-BASED WAIVERS FOR SOCCER ENROLLMENT EACH YEAR.
