PRISMS also offers guidebooks on topics such as medical management guidelines, constipation, behavior, and residential living. We provide an online store where our community can purchase PRISMS merchandise as well as the book On the Road to Success with SMS.

PRISMS hosted the 12th Smith-Magenis Syndrome Research Symposium in Boulder, Colorado on September 25-26, 2025. The symposium brought together researchers from around the world to share and collaborate on research about Smith-Magenis Syndrome. Researchers new to the SMS community and graduate students were able to participate in person and virtually to share current and active research initiatives. The symposium was open to all members of the community to attend. PRISMS also funded the research of four summer scholars, graduate students that are working to expend our understanding of SMS.

PRISMS continued to support the PCRC PRISMS Clinics and Research Consortium. SMS Clinics provide multi-specialty, comprehensive and compassionate care for patients with SMS. PCRC also offers families the opportunity to carry home treatment recommendations to share with their local providers. The Clinic Travel Fund reimburses caregivers for expenses associated with travel to and from a SMS clinic. This helps ensure families seek the best medical care. With the addition of a clinic at St. Jude Childrens Clinic in Memphis, TN there are now nine clinics in the United States with locations on both the East and West Coast, the Central, and Mid-West.
