The band students from our symphonic, concert, and jazz bands, participated in the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association (VBODA) performance assessments. VBODA brings in judges to rate each band on a list of criteria. These then translate into a rank of 1 (Superior), 2 (Average), or 3 (Inferior). The symphonic band received a 1; concert band received a 1; and the jazz band received a 2. We are super proud of our band students and rewarded them with food from Chick-fil-A as a reward for their hard work and dedication.
