Nonprofits, foundations, and others will more easily be able to compare and benchmark nonprofits' programs, progress, and results. The GuideStar Profile Standard (GSPS) is updated annually and serves as a best practice guide for collecting and sharing information about nonprofit organizations. The GSPS applies to our GuideStar Nonprofit Profiles and determines an organization's qualifications for a Seal of Transparency. Nonprofits can earn Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum Seals of Transparency depending on the amount of information they share.
