THE VIRGINIA PUBLIC ACCESS PROJECT (VPAP) PROVIDES NONPARTISAN RESOURCES THAT SIMPLIFY THE PROCESS OF FINDING AND UNDERSTANDING INFORMATION ABOUT VIRGINIA POLITICS AND GOVERNMENT. VPAP'S CORE OFFERINGS INCLUDE VANEWS, A FREE DAILY E-NEWS AGGREGATION SERVICE, AND INTERACTIVE VISUALIZATIONS THAT TRANSFORM COMPLEX POLITICAL AND CAMPAIGN FINANCE DATA INTO EASY-TO- UNDERSTAND CHARTS, MAPS, AND GRAPHICS. ADDITIONAL RESOURCES, SUCH AS LIVE ELECTION RESULTS, PERSONALIZED EMAIL ALERTS FOR UPDATES ON CAMPAIGN FINANCE, POLITICAL DEVELOPMENTS, AND NEWLY AVAILABLE DATA, ALONG WITH A USER-FRIENDLY WEBSITE, ENSURE THAT THE PUBLIC HAS ACCESS TO UNIQUE AND VALUABLE INFORMATION NOT FOUND ANYWHERE ELSE.

BY CONNECTING REAL- WORLD POLITICAL INFORMATION TO CLASSROOM CONCEPTS, CIVICS NAVIGATOR HELPS STUDENTS BUILD A FOUNDATIONAL UNDERSTANDING OF GOVERNMENT AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT.
