The team is experienced with state-of-the-art hearing technology including hearing aids, cochlear implants, and FM systems. Team members act as coaches and guides for families to support development of auditory skills, to facilitate spoken language, to create supportive listening environments, and to integrate listening and language into the routines of family life. Potomac River Clinic is committed to meeting the needs of underserved children within the population including those from non-English speaking families, children with additional special needs, children of culturally deaf families, and children from lower socio-economic groups. The following services are provided: Assessment and evaluation, assistive technology, specialized instruction, speech-language pathology, audiology, and professional training.
