WORLD PEDIATRICS ALSO MOBILIZED 28 CHILDREN FROM 10 COUNTRIES TO ADVANCED CENTERS WITHIN THE LATIN AMERICA AND CARIBBEAN REGIONS FOR SURGERY OR SPECIALIST CARE IN 8 PEDIATRIC SUB-SPECIALTIES, OR FOR ACCESS TO ADVANCED MEDICAL IMAGING. WORLD PEDIATRICS FACILITATED 68 SURGICAL AND DIAGNOSTIC TEAMS TO 9 COUNTRIES IN LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN, PROVIDING 845 SURGERIES AND 3,378 CONSULTATIONS/EVALUATIONS TO NEARLY 2,800 CHILDREN. WORLD PEDIATRICS' GLOBAL NEONATAL PROGRAM MOBILIZED 15 TRAINING TEAMS, 3 CONFERENCES, AND 3 OBSERVERSHIPS IN THE CARIBBEAN AND LATIN AMERICA REGIONS. WORLD PEDIATRICS' PROGRAMS COLLECTIVELY PROVIDED 4,357 TRAINING HOURS TO 2,592 TRAINEES. FINALLY, WORLD PEDIATRICS SUPPORTED SPONSORSHIP OF 660 CHILDREN FOR ACCESS TO AVAILABLE MEDICAL CARE IN THEIR HOME COUNTRIES, REMOVING BARRIERS TO ACCESS IN THEIR LOCAL HEALTH SYSTEMS THROUGH FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY.
