Girls on the Mic Provided year-round after-school audio production/STEM/Creative technology training to over 2,000 underserved middle/high school girls and gender-expansive youth (96% low income/92% BIPOC) from 40+ partner schools across the San Francisco/Oakland Unified School Districts, exposing them to careers in technology and demonstrating the importance of stem studies WAM Academy Certificate training is a music technology training and career certification program for low-income, young women. WAM gaave 100+ job specific training workshops and professional certificate training to over 500 young women and gender-expansive people. WAM Internship program provided critical real-world technology work experience along with career counseling and job placement services for women pursuing careers in the recording and music technology industries. WAM provided paid internships for 44 women and gender expanisve students in 2024 and placed 30 in audio careers Recording Residencies provided 10 underserved artists and ensembles from diverse cultures with free access to recording services, while providing paid work experience for 12 women engineers in 2024 WAMCon conferences presents panels, booth and networking - WAMCon LA reached over 150 aspiring women engineers and producers
