In 2023 Meadowview Volunteer Fire Department responded to a total of 356 Emergency calls. 171 of those calls were to fire alarms, most of which turned out to be not real emergencies, 31 calls were to some type of structural fires, 48 were for outdoor fires such as brush, grass or forest, 70 calls were to sites of motor vehicle accidents. None involved hazardous materials. 4 calls were to assist local life saving crews on medical emergencies. There were 32 other calls which did not fit into the categories above. These may have included downed trees, power lines and other types of storm damage or flooding.
