SUMMERSVILLE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER OPERATES AN EMERGENCY ROOM TAKING ALL PATIENTS REGARDLESS OF INSURANCE IN CONJUNCTION WITH A REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER APPROACH, CONNECTING PATIENTS TO TERTIARY CARE FACILITIES AS NECESSARY FOR SERVICES. ANCILLARY DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES ARE ALSO PROVIDED INCLUDING LAB, X-RAY, CT, MRI, ULTRASOUND, PT/OT, NUCLEAR MEDICINE, SURGERY, AND EMERGENCY ROOM. PHYSICIAN CLINICS INCLUDE RURAL HEALTH CLINICS, SURGERY PRACTICE, WOMEN'S HEALTH PRACTICE AND ORTHOPEDICS PRACTICE. THE HOSPITAL TRANSITIONED TO CRITICAL ACCESS IN FEBRUARY 2019
