Mission

West Virginia's Family Resource Networks (FRNs) Children, and families that nurture them, must be West Virginia's number one priority. A Family Resource network is a group of people from a local community that works together to better meet the needs of children and families in their local area. The group includes people who receive services for themselves and their families and other community members who are interested in children and families. The six outcomes adopted by the FRNs for West Virginia's Children and Families serve as a guide in the collaborative work of the Family Resource Networks: * West Virginians will achieve and maintain good physical and mental health. * West Virginia's children will be ready to succeed in school. * West Virginians will possess marketable skills and have access to good jobs. * West Virginia parents will have adequate resources to protect, nurture, educate and support their children. * West Virginia's children will live in permanent, stable hom

This grant is managed by a volunteer board of directors that ensures that the Statement of Work is completed. This grant is used to assess the needs of the community and to identify service gaps to ensure that services are available and accessible in the community

PCFSC is a one-stop shop for information, resource and referral services for Pocahontas County families. This grant provides for the day-to-day operations of the Center. It covers salaries, benefits for two and one half employees. This grant provides a food pantry, baby pantry, clothing pantry, personal care, and specialized services for families.
