The Partnership for Success grant through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration focuses on decreasing youth cannabis use and increasing healthy alternative activities available to middle and high school students. Our projects this year included implementing the evidence-based curriculum Too Good for Drugs and Catch My Breath in underserved schools, a media campaign on THC levels and how they differ from levels in the 90s, and hosting monthly alternative activities including a walking taco dinner, drive-in movie theatre night,chalk the walk event and hosting community events including a car show.

The Fayette Family Resource Network continued our monthly meetings, reaching over 38 organizations. We maintained our grant requirements through the Department of Human Services and continued providing fiscal agent services to the Fayette Prevention Coalition. We continued our basic need fulfillment program, offering tangible assistance to the most vulnerable population in our county. Lastly, we started a new initiative called Early Learning Community, focused on supporting the health and overall well being of children prenatal to age 8.
