During the year, the Edneyville Fire Department continued to fulfill its exempt purpose of protecting life and property by providing fire suppression, emergency medical response, and community safety education to the residents of Henderson County, North Carolina. In addition to emergency response, the Department invested significant time in community outreach and preparedness. Firefighters conducted public safety education programs at local schools, churches, and civic organizations, reaching children, families, and senior citizens with training in fire prevention, CPR, and emergency readiness. These efforts reduce risk, strengthen community resilience, and further the Departments mission of safeguarding the public.The Edneyville Fire Department also maintained its readiness through ongoing firefighter training and equipment upgrades.
