WINGS provides scholarship and mentoring support for those who identify as female or have demonstrated support for females in the pursuit of a higher education degree as a way to improve their lives. Scholarships are awarded to students at five area colleges to assist with tuition, transportation, childcare and other expenses. Candidates are identified by the colleges and then chosen through a competitive application and interview process administered by Women Executives for Community Service(WECS). In fiscal year 2025 we supported 17 scholars.

Scholar Development Seminars and Networking Events As part of the scholar development services provided to the scholarship recipients as they progress through their college education, we offer mentoring in addition to scholar development seminars and networking events each year to educate and support scholars development and growth. In addition to the scholar development services, we provide laptops and software for each incoming scholar.
