Mission

SINCE 1994 FEEDNC HAS BEEN A PLACE OF ACCEPTANCE AND COMPASSION. OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE NOURISHING MEALS, FELLOWSHIP AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO THOSE IN NEED. WE RECEIVE NO GOVERNMENT FUNDS AND DEPEND 100% ON COMMUNITY SUPPORT. WITHOUT GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS, WE OFFER OUR SERVICES TO ANYONE IN NEED WITH NO MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM REQUIREMENTS. WE ARE A FAMILY AND NOT AN AGENCY, WHERE EVERYONE IS WELCOME. AT THE KITCHEN, WE SERVE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH TO AROUND 150 NEIGHBORS EACH DAY. OUR PHILOSOPHY OF ACCEPTANCE AND ENCOURAGEMENT EXTENDS INTO OUR COMMUNITY FEEDING PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS, THROUGHOUT IREDELL COUNTY, SERVE OUR VETERANS, SENIORS, CHILDREN AND THE WORKING POOR. THROUGH OUR MANY PROGRAMS, WE PROVIDED OVER 75,000 MEALS IN 2023. WE ALSO PROVIDE EMERGENCY FOOD BOXES FOR THOSE IN CRISIS AND OTHER RESOURCES TO HELP THEM MOVE BEYOND THE CRISIS.
