For many years we have supported the Annual MCP&R Senior Games held each Spring at various Park and Rec Facilities. Our support for the Senior Games in 2024 was $8,353 (income of $5,244). Also, during 2024, we worked with the City of Charlotte to establish a management organization to continue the enrichment of the Five Points Neighborhood and the Annual Five Points 5K Race in the underserved westside. We made a donation of $48,873 (the net proceeds that we had collected over the years) to establish this Neighborhood Management Non-Profit group.

During 2024, JARVI Scholarships awarded scholarships to Park & Rec Professionals to attend Continuing Education Programs ($16,091). We also made a donation to NCRPA Scholarships for children and youth to attend summer camps. This Scholarship Donation is a result of the Cabarrus ALP Annual Moonshine Golf Tournament held at Monroe Golf Club - 90% of Net Proceeds goes to the NCRPA Scholarship Fund (Income of $5,419 - Expenses of $3,047 = $2,372Net, 90% = $2,135 Donation to NCRPA Scholarship Fund).

This Celebration was held at the recently renovated Pearl Street Park in the Brooklyn Neighborhood near uptown Charlotte. City and County dignitaries joined our Board Members and MCP&R Leaders to Celebrate with our Annual Partner Sponsors and Friends in an evening of festivities, music and food/beverages to say, "Thank You".
