NEXT STEP MINISTRIES PROVIDES REFUGE, ADVOCACY, AND EDUCATION TO SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, AND THE BROADER COMMUNITY. NEXT STEP OFFERS SHELTER, SUPPORTIVE SERVICES, GOALS-BASED PROGRAMS, AND UNBIASED CARE IN A SAFE AND PROTECTIVE ENVIRONMENT. IN 2025, NEXT STEP RECEIVED 1,791 CALLS TO THE NEXT STEP MINISTRIES CRISIS LINE, PROVIDED SAFE HOUSING FOR 53 INDIVIDUALS AND CHILDREN FLEEING FROM ABUSE, AND PROVIDED 196 COURT ADVOCACY MEETINGS AND/OR ACCOMPANIMENT FOR INDIVIDUALS NAVIGATING THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/SEXUAL ASSAULT COURT PROCESS. THE GOAL OF NEXT STEP IS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE ISSUES SURROUNDING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT AND TRANSFORM THE LIVES OF VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS.
