All Souls Counseling Center

In fiscal year 2025, we provided 4,908 service visits to 610 people in the WNC region. These services were provided in the form of individual counseling sessions, couples counseling sessions, group counseling sessions, and mental health check-ins at community partner sites. Approximately 74% of our new clients were uninsured and, of those reporting, 49% of our clients made $25,000 or less per year. Counseling was provided on a sliding-scale fee basis dependent upon annual income and 91% of our counseling visits were provided for $25 or less, with no one turned away due to inability to pay. Due to the impact of Hurricane Helene, we waived all client fees from October 1, 2024 - March 31, 2025. We served our clients with a hybrid of both in-person and virtual therapy sessions utilizing a team of 25 licensed therapists who offer individual, couples, family, and group counseling to address issues including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, addiction

recovery, grief and loss, life transitions, postpartum depression, parenting issues, marriage and family relationships, sexual orientation and/or gender identity issues (LGBTQ-affirming), stress management, victims of crime, and domestic violence. Bilingual English/Spanish counseling is also available on a limited basis. We partnered with Haywood Street Congregation and the Lunch as the Crossroads program at First Baptist Church in Asheville to provide on-site counseling support to individuals who were unhoused and/or are living in transitional housing. We also continued our formal referral partnership with Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) to provide psychiatric services for clients needing a higher level of care and/or access to medicine management. Over the past year we expanded our Help the Helpers initiative to provide services to the staff of four direct service organizations working with vulnerable populations.
