Employment Source, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is an affiliate of ServiceSource. The mission of the organization is to provide employment supports and community-based services in Fayetteville, NC. The ServiceSource organization comprises six affiliates with programs and operations in more than 30 states and the District of Columbia. The affiliates are locally incorporated as separate 501(c)(3) entities but meet concurrently through the same volunteer board of directors across regions. Employment Source, the ServiceSource North Carolina affiliate, is located in Fayetteville, NC. In addition to Employment Source, ServiceSource operates through five affiliate offices: Central Fairfax Services (Fairfax, VA); WorkSource Enterprises (Charlottesville, VA); Abilities of Florida (Clearwater, FL); Opportunity Center, Inc., (New Castle, DE), and PARC Community Partnership Foundation (Clearfield, UT). Employment Source served more than 3,400 individuals in fiscal year 2025 (FY 2025) and provides the following programs and services: A full range of rehabilitation and employment supports including vocational evaluation, work adjustment training, job coaching, supported employment, work incentive counseling, financial education and Social Security benefits counseling, and specialized programs. Affirmative employment programs provide community integrated employment for people with disabilities in career fields such as food service operations, mail center management, call center operations, logistics, and administrative support. Friendship House Fayetteville, an intentional living community, provides affordable, integrated housing for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and students studying to become healthcare professionals. Warrior Bridge provides career guidance, vocational training, job placement, and other support services to veterans with disabilities. Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), prepare students with disabilities to transition into the workforce or continuing education after graduation with services that include situational assessments and career exploration. The Abilities Housing Program provides affordable, accessible, and safe housing for persons with low incomes and or disabilities.
