CWSP provided students from under-resourced families with paid, professional work placements at corporate and nonprofit partner organizations. Through participation in the CWSP, students earned wages to offset the cost of their education while gaining real-world job experience, professional skills, social capital, and increased selfconfidence. The program supports college readiness by helping students connect academic learning to workplace expectations and career pathways. As a result of the CWSP model, approximately 40 percent of CRSM college graduate alumni are employed by current or former CWSP partner organizations.
