SERVANT MANOR STARTED A PILOT PROGRAM, TOP TIER DEVELOPMENT, LLC, AS PART OF ITS CONTINUUM OF CARE, WITH ASSISTANCE AND FUNDING SUPPORT FROM THE CITY OF MILWAUKEE TO PURCHASE AND RENOVATE FORECLOSED PROPERTIES FOR MILWAUKEE RESIDENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS AGING OUT WHO MAY NOT QUALIFY FOR TRADITIONAL LENDING PRODUCTS. THE FORECLOSED PROPERTIES ARE PRIMARILY LOCATED IN THE 53206 ZIP CODE THAT CURRENTLY HAS A SHORTAGE OF USABLE AFFORDABLE HOMES. OBTAINING ADDITIONAL HOMES IN THE CITY OF MILWAUKEE DEEPENS TIES AND ENSURES THE CONTINUATION OF CARE FOR YOUNG ADULTS WHO ARE OFTEN LEFT IN NEED WHEN THEY AGE OUT OF THE PROTECTIVE SYSTEM. TOP TIER DEVELOPMENT, LLC WAS INITIALLY SET UP AS A JOINT VENTURE TO GAIN ACCESS TO ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IN THE COMMUNITY. IN 2024, SERVANT MANOR WAS ABLE TO TRANSITION TO 100% OWNERSHIP OF TOP TIER DEVELOPMENT, LLC AND CONTINUES TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE AND FUNDING SUPPORT FROM THE CITY OF MILWAUKEE.
