Our Largest fundraiser is our annual Turkey Shoot. This year we raised $72,059 Section XIII-1c and XIII-8a. We donated the proceeds of $45,309 to the East Cooper Outboard Beneficent Group 58-2342112Section IX-1. The East Cooper Outboard Beneficent Group is our 501c3 Charitable Organization that then donates this money to worthy local 501c3 charities. Some of the charities that receive money are East Cooper Meals on Wheels My Sister's House scholarships to needy students Coastal Conservation Association South Carolina and many more. The East Cooper Outboard has been raising money through our Turkey Shoot for over 50 years.

Meeting and social expenses to serve the interests of boat owners and promote the safe use of boating and conservation of our natural resources. The East Cooper Outboard Motor Club has monthly meetings where we meet with the local Charities that we donate money to. This gives the local charities a forum to discuss what there organization will do with the proceeds to discuss upcoming projects and generally keep the members informed. These meeting are critical in making sure our donations are used wisely. The meeting also allows for marine biologists and conservationists the opportunity to meet with over 100 boat owners and fisherman at each meeting.
