A HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENT CONTRACT (HAP CONTRACT) WITH HUD PROVIDES RENT ASSISTANCE FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES (OR PERSONS) AS PROVIDED BY THE SECTION 8 PROGRAM OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT.
