THE ORGANIZATION SERVES AT-RISK YOUTH UNDER THE AGE OF 23 FACING HOMELESSNESS, INCLUDING SURVIVORS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND PREGNANT AND PARENTING YOUTH WITH THEIR CHILDREN. YOUNG PEOPLE ARRIVE AT COVENANT HOUSE WITH AN ARRAY OF LIVED EXPERIENCES AND ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES (ACES), INCLUDING FOSTER CARE, FAMILY TRAUMA, SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER, MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ABUSE, SYSTEMS INVOLVEMENT AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
