THE CHAMBER MEETINGS PROVIDE A FORUM FOR ITS MEMBERS TO MEET OTHER BUSINESS OWNERS AND MANAGERS. ANNUALLY, THE CHAMBER SPONSORS A COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARADE, A BOOTH AT THE CITY OF GERMANTOWN FESTIVAL AND A BUSINESS EXPO. SPONSORS FOR THE PARADE ARE SOLICITED TO GENERATE FUNDS, WHICH ARE USED TO PURCHASE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS FOR SCHOOL BANDS THAT PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE. THE CHAMBER MAKES NO PROFIT ON THE PARADE. AT THE EXPO VARIOUS VENDORS ARE ABLE TO RENT BOOTH SPACE TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES TO OTHER BUSINESSES AND RESIDENTS OF GERMANTOWN. TRADITIONALLY, THE CHAMBER HAS DISTRIBUTED TO NEW RESIDENTS FREE OF CHARGE, A NEWCOMER'S PACKAGE IN WHICH INFORMATION ABOUT THE CITY, MAPS, BR
