SINCE 2001, THE WOMANS CLUB OF COCONUT GROVE HAS ANNUALLY HOSTED THE YOUNG ARTISTS GALLERY (YAG), AWARDING A CUMULATIVE TOTAL OF MORE THAN 120,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.YAG PROVIDES A PLATFORM FOR STUDENTS TO EXHIBIT THEIR WORK, GAIN EXPOSURE, AND SELL THEIR ART. PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE CRITIQUES FROM ESTEEMED ARTISTS, ENHACING THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. THE PROGRAM ENGAGES ART PROFESSIONALS, ENTHUSIASISTS, AND LOCAL ARTISTS FOSTERING A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY. YAG NOT ONLY CONTRIBUTES TO THE EDUCATIONAL AND ARTISTIC GROWTH OF STUDENTS, BUT ALSO BOOSTS THEIR PORTFOLIOS, LAYING A FOUNDATION FOR FUTURE CAREERS IN THE ARTS. SCHOLARSHIPS PAID DIRECTLY TO ART SCHOOLS AND ARE GRANTED OVER THE COURSE.
