Palm Beach County is the largest agricultural county in the state of Florida. However, it is highly urbanized therefore during South Florida Fair we take the opportunity to educate the general public on the importance of agriculture and its impact on our county. The fair attracts over half a million people each year during its 14 day run. We promote our local agriculture by displaying what commodities are grown in our area as well as where they are grown.

Palm Beach County Farm Bureau supports youth involved in 4-H and FFA activities throughout the year. We have assisted students with irrigation systems at their FFA tree farms, provided scholarships, and supported their activities at the fair. It is important to mentor and educate students on the importance of agriculture and continue to encourage them to stay active in their agricultural communities.

These types of meetings lead to collaborative efforts by elected officials and farmers to work towards the betterment of those engaged in agriculture.
