Highlands County Farm Bureau participated in the AgVenture program held in the fall. This 3 day event brings students from the local communities to gain an understanding and appreciation for agriculture through hands-on experiences. Students rotate through 14 stations where they learn about botany, water conservation,and forestry, just to name a few topics. Students learn about how food goes from the farm to their table.
